Comedy Slapdown

COMEDY SLAPDOWN is where comic improvisation meets Wrestlemania. Five teams compete in a totally unscripted round-robin style tournament set between the ropes in the Slapdown wrestling arena!

Each episode sees two teams, consisting of three comic improvisers each, jump into the ring and go head to head in a series of improvised games in pursuit of laughs. The winning team from each episode will move a step closer to the final where the two funniest teams will play off in a title fight finale.

The host and ‘King of the Ring’ HG Nelson will oversee proceedings and is assisted by his team including resident hanging judge Matthew Parkinson - Miss Wing Ding, holder of the round numbers - The Duke, roustabout and keeper of the Slapdown Belt and Rock’n John Thorn on keyboards.

Teams include some of Australia’s top comedians such as Julia Zemiro, Tom Gleeson, Corrine Grant, Julia Morris, Paul McCarthy, Matt Tilley and many more. Get ready to rumble, or maybe just laugh as Comedy Slapdown invades your Saturday nights! (Source: The Comedy Channel)
