Next Episode of Nigella's Cook, Eat, Repeat is
Nigella Lawson, one of Britain's most celebrated and beloved cooks, is back with another inspiring TV series, Cook, Eat, Repeat. In the series Nigella will share the rhythms and rituals of her kitchen through a multitude of delicious new recipes that make the most of her favourite ingredients. Nigella gets to the heart of how food is woven into our everyday lives and the connection it provides. Along the way, she'll offer up mouth-watering dishes that range from the indulgent Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake, to the rich luxurious Crab Mac'n'Cheese, and the life-affirming Fear Free Fish Stew - all beautifully shot to bring a weekly serving of comfort and cheer into the nation's lives. Nigella will also spend time explaining where she finds inspiration for her recipes, from delving into her collection of vintage cookbooks to exchanges of ideas on social media.
In the first episode, Nigella begins with her take on bhorta, a dish of fried and mashed vegetables mainly associated with Bangladesh, to which she introduces a very British - but very familiar - ingredient. After creating a warm, spicy and aromatic dish of lamb shanks with wide noodles, Nigella uses very ripe bananas to make a rich and gooey chocolate tahini pudding, and then goes on to create a warming curry with a surprising ingredient.
Nigella bakes a fluffy, white, no-knead bread, which she uses to sandwich her crispy fried chicken, accompanied by pickles and kimchi.
Nigella shares her go-to celebratory cake - a divine, layered chocolate and peanut butter cake that will make even die-hard haters of peanut butter relent.
Nigella champions the much-maligned bacon of the sea, the anchovy, which she uses to create an elixir to accompany seared steak or crisp, red chicory.
