Next Episode of Der Pass is
not planed. TV Show was canceled.
When a gruesomely staged body is found, propped up on a mountain pass in the Alps close to the German-Austrian border, two detectives are sent to investigate. For German detective Ellie, this is the first real challenge of her career; her Austrian counterpart Gedeon though seems to have lost any ambitions in his job. Very soon, they discover more crime scenes with symbolically posed victims, reminiscent of pagan rituals. It all seems to be part of a bigger, sinister plan. Ellie finds herself under increasing pressure to understand the deranged killer's motives so she can stop him. The hunt leads them ever deeper in the dark valleys and archaic Alpine customs - and the paranoid world of the killer.
A string of mysterious murders on both sides of the Germany-Austria border shocks the region, but former partners German detective Ellie Stocker and Austrian investigator Gedeon Winter have become bitter enemies. While Gedeon sets out to find his childhood tormentor, Ellie is still trying to uncover the truth about the murder of her colleague.
When the burnt corpse of a woman is found in Austria, a new colleague is appointed as liaison officer for the German-Austrian special unit instead of Ellie.
An apparent motorcycle accident on a mountain pass road leads Ellie and Gedeon to a ritualistic spot in the woods and they find out more about the legend of Schinder Jackl. Turek makes a confession to Ellie.
A mysterious man surrenders himself without revealing his name during a police operation in the woods and they have to find out if he has a connection to the murders. Gedeon gathers his remaining strength to find Koschlick.
With the connection between the suspects and murders still unclear, Ellie and Gedeon must push themselves past their breaking points to crack the case. In German.
