Kudo Shinichi is a seventeen year-old high school detective whom people call the "Modern Sherlock Holmes." However, one night after a date with his childhood sweetheart, Ran, Shinichi witnessed an illegal trade and, caught off his guard, was knocked unconscious and fed a drug that was supposed to kill him... but he woke up and found himself shrunken to a seven year-old. In order to track down the men who did this to him, Shinichi hid his identity and lived with Ran, whose father happened to be a hopeless detective, and with that came a series of murders and mysteries that he must solve.
Conan prevents an accident involving a out-of-control car with no working breaks. Someone poked holes in the brake hose, and the police investigate the incident as an attempted murder. The driver Hosoo was on his way to deliver a valuable double-sided mask to Ichikawa Ebizo, who is rehearsing at the kabuki theater. Ebizo plans to use the mask at next month's performance of "Nanatsu Men."
While on his way to meet Kaneko, Conan is kidnapped! Conan awakens in the dark basement of a building being demolished. Realizing he doesn't have his phone, he attempts to use his Detective Boys badge to call for help, but there is no answer.
The ventriloquist Tengan puts on a show about a ventriloquist who becomes possessed by his doll and murders his wife. Tengan falls victim to a genuine split personality disorder, and the personality of his doll appears and orders him to kill his wife Kazuko. The next morning, Kazuko is found murdered. Tengan confesses...
Ventriloquist Tengan's wife Kazuko is bludgeoned to death with a trophy. Afflicted by multiple personality disorder, Tengan confesses that he may have killed her while he was unaware, but based on the circumstances, Tengan's apprentice Togawa, who was having an affair with Kazuko, rises as a suspect. Conan feels as though something is wrong with the case and investigates Tengan's home with Detective Takagi. He examines the sideboard where the trophies are displayed and realizes what has been bothering him. Later, Conan asks Takagi some questions and closes in on the truth behind the case..
Conan, Ran, Kogoro, Heiji, and Kazuka visit an inn deep in the mountains of Nagano. Heiji acquires a photo of a figure carrying a scythe running across the surface of the outdoor bath. Conan and his friends have come to investigate the true identity of this figure who resembles a Kamaitachi.
As incidents thought to be the work of a demon known as the kamaitachi occur one after another, Bonzo is murdered in the annex of the inn. Conan notices something odd about the crime scene, and based on the crime scene Heiiji believes the culprit came to the annex through the outdoor bath. After hearing everyone's testimony, Conan and Heiji close in on the truth behind the case and realize who the culprit is from a casual remark...
Conan and the Nagano police team up to solve a case involving the serial murder of police agents and the mysterious woodpecker gang.
Lieutenant Kano is found dead from hanging in his home. From the body's condition, Inspector Morofushi reasons that after being strangled, the body was hanged from the ceiling by someone. Inspector Yamato's fingerprints are found on the rope that was wrapped around Kano's neck....
Members of the Nagano Prefectural Police are killed one after another. After observing the crime scenes, Section One Chief Kuroda puts out a BOLO for Inspector Yamato as the murderer of the three men.
In the morning, Conan notices a suspicious man watching Amuro at the Cafe. Later, on his way home from school, he spots the same man. Believing something must be up if Conan is interested in him, Mitsuhiko, Genta, and Ayumi follow the man. Conan warns Amuro that the man may be a member of the Black Organization...
While at a cake buffet with Genta, Mitsuhiko, Ayumi, Haibara, and Professor Agasa, Conan and company meet Kitami Saya and Shono Kyona, two actresses who hate each other. One threatens to expose the other if they aren't careful. Not long after, Kyona was found in her hotel room dead, but the room was completely locked.
Kyona is found murdered in her locked hotel room. Based on their hatred for each other, in addition to Saya's actions, Conan believes she is the culprit. Conan remembers what Kyona said previously about Saya's secret and tries to uncover it from her blog. After talking with the Detective Boys, he figures out the trick to the locked room!
While Takedera Hitoshi was wearing a costume, his coworker saw him and became frightened, which ultimately caused him to slip and fall to his death. While there were no malicious intentions, he still caused an accidental death, and it's unlikely he'll be cleared of charges. Yet, after questioning office workers who witnessed the incident, Conan and the Detective Boys suspect there may be more to the case.
A man comes to Kogoro to have him find his fiancée, who has gone missing. Kogoro and Conan investigate and lfter talking to her neighbors they learn there may be more to this disappearance than just a simple missing persons case.

The Detective Boys take shelter in a home during a big rain storm. Two men welcome them into the house, but are not familiar with it. Is it their house or is something else happening?
One afternoon, while enjoying scenery at a tidal park in Chiba Prefecture, after low tide occurred, Kogoro was about to take them to an all-you-can-eat seafood restaurant for dinner, but all three of them discover a body lying on a flood bridge.
One night, after their restaurant dinner, Kogoro, Ran, and Conan hear a woman scream and then rush to her rescue. They arrived at the scene and find the corpse of a fallen man. Conan is suspicious of the woman's story.
A hostess named Atsuko Tonda was murdered in front of her house by an unknown assailant. Yumi and Naeko chase after the criminal, who they saw the suspect spinning a hose ritualistically. The suspect threw the hose to obstruct Yumi before fleeing toward the Ramen Ogura shop and there are three customers inside.
Conan and Masumi arrive later at Ramen Ogura just after one of the customers from the night of the murder does. A couple then arrives, as well, and they start discussing the murder-robbery case. Yumi and Naeko begin to unravel the trick with Conan and Masumi's help!
After making him drunk, a man was lured to the Kometo Bridge. While his back was temporarily turned, a flashing boomerang quickly drew attention. When the man looked after the mysterious glowing object flying by, he was grabbed his legs and tipped him over the bridge railing to his death in the dried-out riverbed.
Conan, Kogoro, Ran, Heiji, and Kazuha coincidentally meet at a Gunma Prefecture cottage -- Kogoro is interested as a movie with Yoko was filmed, while Heiji is investigating. A movie crew shows up to shoot a new movie, but something is amiss amongst the crew.
Kogoro accidentally eats a poisonous mushroom and falls ill, which causes them to stay the night. Not soon after, a member of the zombie film crew appears to have committed suicide by poison, filmed on camera! There are some distractions to solving however, as zombies have surrounded the cottage.
The zombies turn out to be extras, wanting to be in the film. During the commotion, a second member of the crew is murdered, but there appears to be a clue related to a murder from 8 years ago.
Kogoro is in pursuit of a criminal when the criminal jumps between buildings. While following, Kogoro hesitates and becomes fearful of heights. While they catch the criminal, his gun is missing.
Conan and Kogoro walk into an apartment to meet a client, but the moment they walk in he is being stabbed by his assistant. Yet, it wasn't the stabbing that killed him. He died hours earlier from strangulation!
The man's brother and wife are the prime suspects. Both have loose alibi's, but the assistant is hiding something too. At first, assistant's story supports the wife, but then changes it to support the brother. Who is the killer?
While at Poirot, Sonoko tried to convince Ran and Sera to start a girls band. They convince Amuro to teach them some at a local studio when they run into another girls band arguing.
One of the girls from the band ends up strangled on top of her drum set while the others were on break. Unfortunately, the camera was blocked by a cell phone the girls were using to tape their session. The murder weapon is nowhere to be seen. Sera shows suspicion on Amuro, believing she's met him before.
At the Suzuki Balloon Festival in Beika, a group of balloonists were racing to the end. During what appears to have been a ballon crash, a man's wife falls out. Did the crash throw her out or did something else?
After exploring the mountains, Ran, Conan, and Kogoro end up staying at a local resort. The next day, they visit a temple, which was built inside a cave. As they're about to enter, they notice someone has been hung on the video screen!
A serial blackmailer is found dead. An office worker he was blackmailing admits she did it, but Kogoro saw her in another neighborhood during the time of the murder. Why did she admit to a murder it was impossible for her to commit or is she hiding something else?
While walking to dinner on a rainy evening, Kogoro and Conan hear a car accident around the corner. Outside of a bus stop, a man has been hit by a car. The driver in unconscious and the victim, dead. A suicide note is found on the body, but the two seem to have known each other!
Kogoro drives Conan and Kei down a seaside highway. Six months earlier, Remi hanged herself in her apartment. Her neighbor Kei blamed herself for being unable to prevent her suicide. Now Kei has moved and is working at her uncle's resort inn. Kei is showing Kogoro and Conan around the local area. Remi used fake names to flee from debt collectors. Conan finds it strange that she used her real name to rent an apartment just before she died. He notices a few other strange things about the story as well...
Conan, Ayumi, Mitsuhiko, Genta, Ai, and Professor Agasa go to the Beika Department Store together. In the stairwell, they witness Hosokoshi, the head chef at the high-end restaurant on the top floor, being stabbed in the stomach by a disgruntled customer. Conan calls Genta, Mitsuhiko, and Ayumi to let them know the culprit escaped down a different stairway. The potential suspects are part-time worker Kamaya, housewife Mitsuko, and chef Miyanodai. Genta, Mitsuhiko, and Ayumi all saw the culprit, but each of their accounts is totally different from the others. Determining the culprit's identity will be rather difficult...
Conan, Ayumi, Mitsuhiko, Genta, and Ai go to the Beika Department Store with Professor Agasa. During their visit, head chef Hosogoe of the restaurant on the top floor is stabbed by a customer near the stairs. Inspector Megure questions Genta, Ayumi, and Mitsuhiko who all saw the culprit, but their testimonies are all over the place. Together the Detective Boys visit the various floors to determine the why the kids seemed to have seen different culprits.
Looks like something went completely wrong!
