Divided by Design

In the series premiere, Ray and Eilyn will vie for a $150,000 renovation project to overhaul an entryway, kitchen, child's bedroom and combo living and dining area. Homeowner David is both the client and the contractor, yet his dark masculine style conflicts with his wife Bella's bright tropical vibe. The chosen designer will help the couple balance their contradictory wishes by combining rich wood tones with light and airy furniture pieces to create a spectacular space that the family will love. 

A family living in one bedroom through a reno pushes Ray to quickly finish the project; after delays, Eilyn is finally able to continue work on the Coral Gables project; Ray and Eilyn assess the reno progress on their forever home.

Elevating design in a Brickell high-rise gets complicated by sloppy work, but clever use of space maximizes kitchen function. Also, Ray and Eilyn's condo needs an unexpected repair that diverts money from completing their forever home.

Ray's best friend wants a luxury overhaul of his spacious backyard. The project is a designer's dream, but escalating costs are a challenge. Also, tensions flare when Eilyn hires her sister to repair a leak at her and Ray's condo.
