Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz is about Dorothy, who is granted princess of Emerald City by Queen Ozma after defeating the Wicked Witch.
Ozma's potion of the month club package arrives and Ozma can't wait to try it! Unfortunately, Dorothy doesn't read the instructions before she spritz Ozma with the Perfume of Petrification. Ozma instantly becomes a statue and the only way to change her back is with the special antidote. Dorothy and friends set out to get the ingredients—the last of which is three hairs from a Woozy, an angry, ferocious beast!
When Wicked Witch Wilhelmina steals the Magical Mandolin (Play it by day it makes you dance but play it at night it puts you in a trance), Dorothy and her friends have to get it back…and fast! Or Wilhelmina will use the Mandolin to put Dorothy in a trance and steal her Ruby Slippers! Dorothy has to rely on her friends and the power of her Ruby Slippers to get it back or Wilhelmina will have her, and all of Oz, dancing to a new tune.
Wilhelmina wants a pet and what better pet than Dorothy's! While Dorothy is busy on an errand for Queen Ozma, the Monkeys snatch Toto and take him to Wilhelmina, who has a hard time winning Toto's affection until she enchants his collar, turning it from ruby red to a pernicious purple. Can Dorothy rescue Toto and prove love is stronger than magic?
The Mayor tells Dorothy she must pass the Official Oziam Exam to be able to stay in Oz. Scarecrow tries to tutor her, but an emergency in Munchkinland takes her attention off the books and onto an adventure. She has to save Munchkinland from a terrible dragon whose taken refuge on the Sapphire City. Is Dorothy able to help and have time to study? How will she pass the test?
The Munchkins are throwing a down-home, country fair in honor of Dorothy. While Dorothy enjoys the pleasures of the fair, Wilhelmina finds a magical locket that allows her to look EXACTLY like whoever's picture she keeps in it (save for a green streak in her hair). Wilhelmina uses it to take the form of Dorothy and crash the fair. With the wicked Dorothy impersonator running about the fair, the Munchkins are appalled that has Princess Dorothy is acting so greedy and grabby and ungrateful! The REAL Princess Dorothy must figure out what's going on and clear her name before the citizens of Oz revoke her princess-ship.
Ozma wants to whip up a snack but has never baked. Dorothy shows her how to make cookies. But Dorothy accidentally grabs the Potion of Life instead of the vanilla and pours it into the mixing bowl! The hand-mixer spins to life, magically mixing things together as it whizzes around the room -- half Scarecrow, half Tin Man. Oh my! The mixer spins out of the palace, mixing everything in its path! Half piggy, half munchkin! Dorothy and Ozma realize the only way to reverse the mix-up is to reverse the spell. They must use the mirror to change the Potion of Life into the Liquid of Petrification.
Dorothy and the gang need to take a munchkin Ojo the Unlucky to the Land of Ev to reverse his curse! As soon as they start their journey, they find out how Ojo the Unlucky earned his name – they are plagued with the WORST bad luck they've ever seen! From having to cross the Deadly Desert to getting attacked by Orks, it's bad luck at every turn. When the Nome King catches them, he's determined to lock them up to keep the bad luck out of his kingdom. But Dorothy reframes their day, realizing it was actually Ojo's good luck that got them out of every obstacle.
The Lion has the honor being named King of the Forest now that he has his medal of courage. Will his trek out to the forest over water, darkness and spiders be too much for this big scaredy cat or will he learn the real meaning of courage?
It's Valentine's Day and Dorothy wants to teach the Ozians all about this tradition. Ozma gives her new BFF the perfect Valentine's present for her new BFF – a LOVE MAGNET! However, the magnet magically makes EVERYONE fall in love with Dorothy. It becomes mayhem when the gift giving and "acts" of love overwhelm Dorothy. Could there be such a thing as too much love?
The Scarecrow has lost his smarts. He just stammers and stumbles around the scrappy dressmaker Patchwork Girl. Wilhelmina thinks Patchwork Girl must be a witch and traps her to find the secret of stealing brainpower. Dorothy comes to the conclusion that the Scarecrow is a bit dimwitted around the Patchwork Girl because he likes her. Scarecrow's brilliant plan guides the gang in freeing the Patchwork Girl from Wilhelmina's clutches!
Ozma and Dorothy say something at the same time. Dorothy playfully calls out, "JINX!" Suddenly, Lion, Scarecrow, and Tin Man look somber. "Oh no, Dorothy! You can't say that in Oz, it really sticks!" Dorothy and Ozma have lost their voices! They try charades but are comically bad at it. The group must travel to the land of Jibber Jab and meet the YAKITY YAKS for the antidote.
Dorothy finds the Magic Magnifying Glass and the Nome King tricks her into using it on him. But once he's big enough, the Nome King swipes the Magnifying Glass and makes himself a giant who can take over Oz! When Dorothy and friends realize that the Nome King is afraid of chickens, they use Billina to frighten the Nome King and reclaim the Magnifying Glass. But how will they go up against someone so big? By making everything else big! Once everything is appropriately enlarged, the Nome King is back to his regular proportion.
Dorothy and her friends find a one-winged monkey who has run away from home. Dorothy feels sorry for the monkey and is determined to get him his second wing so she asks for Ozma's help. Ozma tries to use her magic to make him a wing, but they don't seem to be the right ones for this Monkey. The gang has to travel to Dr. Pipt (the crooked magician) to get the right wing. On the way home, the terrible Wheelers attack our gang. The monkey goes to save them, but in the process, he loses his new wing. He takes advantage of his lopsided flying to tie up the Wheelers. The monkey realizes that his unique abilities saved the day.
There's a storm headed for Emerald City and the only thing that can protect them from it is one of Glinda's protective bubbles. Unfortunately, Glinda the Good Witch's wand is missing! Dorothy takes a break from teaching Toto "fetch" to help Glinda find her wand. As Dorothy and friends re-trace Glinda's steps, Wilhelmina hears about the lost wand. Wilhelmina is one step ahead, and she gets the wand before Dorothy! Dorothy and friends try to get the wand back, but Wilhelmina traps them! Can Toto remember what it means to fetch or will his mistake come in handy?
Dorothy is teaching Queen Ozma and friends about slumber parties! But Wilhelmina is mad that she's been left out of the fun and tries to ruin the slumber party by creating a giant Pillow Monster. But not only does the Pillow Monster attack the party, he escapes the Emerald Palace and rampages toward Wilhelmina's castle! With some help from the Patchwork Girl, they unstitch the Pillow Man and save Oz.
It's the day for Lion's "King of the Forest" speech, but Lion is feeling under the weather. In Oz, when you catch "a bug," you catch a literal bug! This little guy makes himself at home, snuggling in behind your ear. The bug's cartoony antics makes Lion have all the symptoms of a cold. Scarecrow and Tin Man set off to Dr. Pipt to get a cure for Lion's bug. But they forget the instructions and instead of getting rid of the bug, they multiply it! Dorothy must find a way to get the bugs off their ears before Lion must make his speech.
Dorothy and her friends find Tik Tok, a mechanical man, broken down by the side of the road. They must help him get repaired! Tik Tok is immediately enamored with Tin Man, thinking he's a great hero. He wants to be just like Tin Man, but since Tik Tok's voice mechanism isn't working, the only way Tik Tok can communicate this is by trying to impress Tin Man. However, Tin Man thinks that Tik Tok is trying to upstage him! Tin Man worries that Tik Tok is going to replace him as the mechanical man of the group and his jealously comes to a head when Tik Tok saves the group from the springs of Springfield Mountain. Tin Man decides that he should leave, but Dorothy, Scarecrow and Lion must convince him that he can never be replaced.
Ozma has created a fun corn maze with a special treasure at the center. Scarecrow thinks that being super strong will impress the Patchwork Girl so he gets a magical "Get Strong Quick" shirt that makes him a beefy hunk – but at the price of his smarts. When the Nome King steals the treasure from Ozma's maze, Scarecrow must get back his smarts to save the day.
It's Musical Monday and the Beasts Royale are going to perform! The Beast Royales are the most popular band in Oz and a mob of Fans follows them everywhere they go. Wilhelmina is their number one fan, so sends Frank and Lyman to kidnap them so they can play for her instead! Dorothy, Tin Man, Scarecrow, Lion and Toto aren't about to let Wilhelmina spoil the party, and mount a hair-raising rescue so that the band can get back to the castle to perform.
When Wilhelmina's plan to get the ruby slippers goes awry, she uses a magic hourglass to go back in time and do it over again. But the more she goes back in time, the more she messes up the plan for herself!
Lion adopts a stray kitten and names it Eureka, but the kitten wreaks havoc on the castle! Dorothy realizes that Eureka isn't an orphan -- she's lost from her home in the Valley of Pussycats. When Dorothy and friends return Eureka to her family, they find that Purrville is being terrorized by a Rak! To make the town safe for the cats, Dorothy must find a way to get rid of the Rak.
Dorothy, Ozma and Glinda are off to the Witchy Bazaar. Wilhelmina is excited that Glinda's house will be unoccupied and she sends her Monkeys to steal the Great Book of Ozian Records so she can erase Dorothy from Oz history! However, the Monkeys are in for a surprise – Scarecrow, Tin Man and Lion are castle sitting. The trio of heroes uses Home Alone-style techniques to keep Frank and Lyman from getting the Great Book of Ozian Records.
Dorothy presents Ozma with a magical Best Friends necklace (half says best and the other half says friends) that she found while digging in her garden. Ozma is thrilled and puts it on immediately! But what they didn't realize is that the second you put on the necklaces, you're literally joined/connected at the hip! They must find the key to friendship to get unstuck!
It's Family Day in Oz, but Woozy doesn't have a family. Dorothy and friends set out to help Woozy find his family. But when their attempts to find Woozy's family go comically awry, Woozy bursts into tears. All his tears create a raging river that's sweeping through Oz! As Dorothy and friends save Woozy, they realize that they are a family.
Dorothy and friends are looking for a replacement emerald for Ozma's magic wand when they are captured by ZOG, a sea monster, and taken to his under water kingdom. The sea fairies help them escape, but when MERA the sea fairy is captured during the rescue, Dorothy sacrifices the emerald to save her new friend.
It's Cookie Eating Day and Dorothy must whip up enough cookies for all of Oz. To complete this mission, Dorothy uses a magical baking pan, but in addition to multiplying the cookies, it also brings them to life. Dorothy and friends must use milk to lead the cookies to Bunbury where they can live happily ever after.
Wilhelmina steals Ozma's "copy cat" and uses it to make clones of herself and storm the Emerald Castle, demanding the ruby slippers. Dorothy and friends are outnumbered! Dorothy to combat all the Wilhelminas, Dorothy makes a fake pair of ruby slippers and lures them to the Truth Fountain.
When Queen Ozma shakes her magic snow globe, a snow cloud descends on Oz and for the first time, it snows in Oz! The Ozians love the snow until it gets colder and colder and shows no sign of letting up. Dorothy and friends must find a way to bring the winter to an end.
Wilhelmina steals Queen Ozma's magic mirror and becomes so infatuated with her own reflection that she gives up on all her other hobbies. The more she looks in the mirror, the bigger her reflection grows. When Dorothy tries to recover the mirror, the mirror breaks and the reflection beast is released! To stop her reflection, Wilhelmina must do something "good" and looks to Dorothy to train her in the ways of goodness.
It's the Poppin' Poppies Parade and Dorothy needs more poppies to cover her float. But the poppy field has been picked dry, save for one last poppy. Dorothy uses a plant-grow potion on the poppy and finds this poppy is the last of the Wicked Witch's enchanted sleeping poppies! Dorothy must find a way to subvert the magic before all of Oz is put to sleep forever.
Dorothy is teaching her friends about Halloween and Wilhelmina thinks this sounds like the perfect holiday for her. Wilhelmina is going to hijack Halloween! With her magic, she creates JACK PUMPKINHEAD to help her play a trick on Dorothy. But Jack actually helps Dorothy pull off the best Halloween spook ever to make her party perfect.
It's Halloween night and Dorothy and crew are trick-or-treating when they come to the end of the Yellow Brick Road. Not ready to call it a night, Dorothy convinces them to follow the Red Brick Road instead. But their journey down the RBR leads to a haunted house, where the CANDY MAN spooks them and steals their candy.
Ozma is helping Dorothy get ready for the Oz Royal Ball. Dorothy's worried about remembering all the protocols for meeting the royals.
When Ozma is practicing magic and can't remember the magic word, Dorothy yells Abracadabra. But in Oz, that magic word takes magic away.
The gang tries to figure out who stole some of the yellow bricks...and the answer points to one of the Wheelers!
Glinda's twin sister, Melinda the Mean, tries to ruin her sister's reputation in Munchkin Land!
Wilhelmina finds a magical mood ring, which she uses to control Dorothy's mood.
Wilhelmina uses a spell to get one of Dorothy's ruby slippers. When she tries to use the slipper, she's whisked away to Under the Rainbow.
When Nome King kidnaps Professor Wogglebug, T.E., Dorothy and friends must rescue him.
Dorothy and her friends try to cure the Zoup's hiccups, while Willhelmina sends little devils to prank them!
