First to arrive at Dr Christian Jessen's state-ofthe-art clinic this week is 38-year-old Blair and his wife, Kim. Blair suffers from a long-term skin condition that leads to painful abscesses on his buttocks and groin area. The problem is not only causing him daily discomfort, the amount of blood he's losing due to the condition recently led to a heart attack. Also hoping for some answers is stuntman Michael, who comes to clinic with his best friend Chantelle. Michael's job requires him to constantly work out in the gym, but despite his active lifestyle he struggles to stay awake for extended periods of time and is severely exhausted. It's effecting his social life and he has stopped dating. Meanwhile, 26-year-old flight attendant Dale, has suffered from ‘man boobs' or Gynaecomastia since he was ten-years-old. His low self-esteem is having an impact on his relationship with fiancé Mikey. And the final patient of the day is Katie, who comes to the clinic with her husband Nathan. Katie suffers from an extremely rare condition that affects her reproductive organs and means she has two vaginas. To compound matters, the problem is making it difficult for her to conceive. She's been trying to get pregnant for over four years and the strain is beginning to take its toll on her relationship with Nathan.
Dr Christian Jessen and his team of top in-house specialists are on hand to treat Toni, who is unable to conceive, and Olivia, who has a painful skin disorder.
This week, 21-year-old Emma has come to the clinic with her mum to have her double G breasts examined. They are causing her a lot of discomfort and are stopping her from finding a boyfriend. She's hoping Dr Christian's advice and a consultation with his plastic surgeon can help change her life. Meanwhile, Mackenzie suffers from cluster headaches and is prone to severe attacks up to eight times a day. The condition is getting worse and it's putting a strain on her relationship with boyfriend Connor, who doesn't know how to help. Andrea and her husband Paul have come to the clinic for help with Andrea's ongoing hair-loss, which is a result of chemotherapy that she underwent three years ago. The issue has had a big impact on her self-esteem and she is struggling with the condition on a daily basis. And, wedding planner Billy, suffers from beard alopecia. His condition has hit his confidence hard and is preventing him from socialising and living his life to the full. With the help of his in-house dermatologist can Dr Christian work his magic?
The first patient of the day is 41-year-old Anna, who comes to the clinic with her partner Chris to find a treatment for her constant vaginal bleeding. To compound matters, the problem is making it difficult for her to conceive. She's been trying to get pregnant for years and the strain is beginning to take its toll on her relationship with Chris. Desperate for help is 16-year-old Abbie who suffers from Emetophobia, which is the fear of vomiting. This phobia is ruling Abbie's life to the point where she has given up her education, has no job and is mostly house-bound. Whilst her boyfriend Jack is very supportive, he believes that Abbie's condition is stopping them from living a full life. Will Dr Christian be able to help? Also hoping for some answers iw Nathan who have come to the clinic for help with Nathan's severe skin condition which covers his face and scalp. The issue has had a big impact on his self-esteem and is also affecting his relationship with partner Charlotte and their 2-year-old daughter Milly. They are hoping that a consultation with Dr Christian can change their life for the better.
