Julia is back home on island Saint-Martin after 2 years of studies in Paris. She lives alone with his father after her mother left them in order to work on Broadway and follow her dream as an artist.

Pierre, Julia's father, is a rich businessman of a luxury hotels chain, the Western Indies. Pierre wants her daughter to take over his business but Julia wants to become a singer instead.
