Next Episode of Dünentod - Ein Nordsee-Krimi is
unknown.
As a rough guy, the idiosyncratic Tjark Wolf investigates in the rough landscape of East Frisia. At his side is the police chief Femke Folkmer, with whom he - of course - forms an unequal investigator duo. They make a grisly discovery on the North Sea coast - and little do they know that this will begin their collaboration in a series of murder cases that will push them to their limits - or even beyond.
During an operation by the Wilhelmshaven Criminal Investigation Department in the drug scene, Femke and Tjark's colleague Ceylan Özer is seriously injured and is now in mortal danger. Determined to convict the smugglers, Femke and Tjark follow every lead and soon realize that in reality an even greater crime is behind it. A warehouse worker is planning a major reckoning and is prepared to do anything.
East Frisian coast: A ghost ship on the North Sea, a yacht with a dead man and a survivor on board who doesn't say a word: A mysterious case for Femke Folkmer and Tjark Wolf. The dead man was a banker and involved in dubious business dealings around an offshore wind farm. The survivor from the yacht was apparently a prostitute and thus just a random victim. However, when a fatal attack is carried out on her shortly afterwards, the detectives realize that they have become embroiled in a deadly web of intrigue, power and betrayal, in which they themselves are in mortal danger...
A truck is spectacularly robbed at full speed. Friesland has been shaken by a series of mysterious robberies on transporters for some time. The team around Femke, Tjark and Ceylan are on the trail of the perpetrators and have to work together with their colleague Rena Fehmerling from the motorway police. When a shepherd, who suddenly witnessed the last robbery, takes the loot, he and his wife find themselves in the firing line of a dangerous network. When Tjark tries to save him, his past catches up with him again and he goes from being the hunter to the hunted.
In the idyllic town of Werlesiel, the motorized paraglider Willem Leefmann is discovered dead in the dunes. During the investigation, it turns out that numerous villagers had a motive for his murder. The mentally unstable Sabine Eriksen, who is shunned by the community, becomes the focus of the case. The investigators uncover a dark secret that lies buried deep in the dunes and is the key to the current case - but this begins a nerve-wracking race against time.
