Dunya en Desie

The series is about the life and the adolescent problems of two little girls from Amsterdam. Dunya (Maryam Hassouni) comes from a traditional Moroccan family and lives in a world where the rules at home are complete different than in the outside world. Desie (Eva van de Wijdeven) comes from a single-parent family and lives with her mother in a small pink apartment where Dolly Parton is played the whole time. She is somewhat less malignant than Dunya, but has a golden heart.
