An Easter commemoration featuring the world famous choir of King's College, Cambridge. Jesus' death and resurrection have inspired some of the most beautiful and moving words and music ever written. Pieces by Handel, Tchaikovsky, Fauré, Franck, Mendelssohn, Victoria, Vaughan Williams and others are sung by the choir led by director of music Stephen Cleobury from the candle-lit college chapel.
The story of Passiontide and Easter is told in words from the King James' Bible, Robert Frost, Alice Meynell and Francis Kilvert.
