Next Episode of Escape to the Chateau: Make Do and Mend is
not planed. TV Show was canceled.
Dick and Angel Strawbridge help families across the UK tackle their design and DIY dilemmas, with the help of their children Dorothy and Arthur.
Angel helps Miriam transform her 1970s bathroom into a relaxing sanctuary. Dick teaches Phil the art of cheese smoking. And together, Dick and Angel advise Tom and Sim how to update their front door.
Dick and Angel Strawbridge design an eco-friendly bedroom for a teenager, creating the bed, shelving and picture frames from pallets, and a swing chair using the art of macramé. Dick rolls up his sleeves to show Chris how to re-lay and re-point a patio to help make his garden a safe sanctuary for his elderly mum, while Angel teams up with her fellow vintage fan Rachel to breathe life back into an old drinks trolley, using the 17th-century French art of decoupage. Amid it all, life at the chateau goes on, as Dick continues his project of converting an old stable into his dream potting shed.
Dick and Angel Strawbridge help Xuxa and Simon, who are keen to transform the Second World War air raid shelter in their garden into a craft room - the only problem is, the space is tiny, so Angel thinks up some creative space-saving solutions. They also get requests to help Lyra and her dad James, who want to make a new chicken coop, and Helena, whose 1960s stereogram record player is no longer spinning.
Dick and Angel Strawbridge help Natalie and Pete come up with some compact camping ideas, such as a portable solar shower that doubles up as a sink and tyre chairs with a rustic rope finish. Dick also helps a viewer transform her garden into a plot she can be proud of, and Angel offers upholstery advice to a woman whose favourite chair has been left in tatters by the family dog.
