Next Episode of Eurovision Young Dancers Contest is

The “Eurovision Young Dancers Contest” 1st began on 16 June 1985 and has been staged every other year since. However a contest was not held in 2007 or 2009 but began again on 24 June 2011. The range originally began in 1985 between ages 13 and 20 but has since changed to ages 15 to 20. The 1st competition had entrants from 10 European countries it was held in Reggio Emilia, Italy and was eventually won by Arantxa Argüelles who represented his country of Spain. In 2011 once again 10 European countries competed and even though the US does not send any competitors to this event “Michael Nunn” was a Judge this year and represented his country of the US. This year’s event was held in Oslo, Norway with the eventual winner being Louise Lind who represented her country of Norway. This International event airs on many different TV stations in different countries through Europe and in many different languages. The next scheduled contest will be in 2013 with the Host City to be named at a later date.
