Fred and his team of matchmakers will be aiming cupid's arrow at E4 as they bring together a bunch of teens, who are all looking to delve into the sometimes-choppy waters of dating and love by going on their first, first dates.This new six-part series will see the brand-spanking new First Dates restaurant in Manchester open its doors to teens aged 16-19, who'll experience the thrill of a real-life, face to face blind date.While our teens may not be ready to settle down with their soulmate just yet, First Dates: Teens gives these young romantics the chance to put their phones in their pocket, escape from the pressures of social media and talk face-to-face with a potential match. They'll be able to put their flirting to the test, but most importantly, take a journey of self-discovery. Through their own experiences and viewpoints, the teens will explore who they are, who they want to be, and what it takes to make the perfect connection with another person.Whilst dating can be terrifying at any age, Fred, Merlin, Cici, Grant alongside some new faces will be on hand to guide our teens through their journey step by step, helping to build their confidence and create a memorable first dating experience.Of course, the health and safety of the teens, Fred and his team and the production crew remains a top priority. All dates have been conducted in compliance with strict COVID-19 filming protocols and the most up to date government guidelines.

More teenagers go on blind dates, starting with 18-year-old crochet-loving fashionista Kiki, whose date is aspiring rapper Ellis. Next to take a crash course in love is 16-year-old A-Level student Toby. Having struggled so far to find a girl to see him as more than a friend, Toby is hoping his luck is soon to change. His date is 16-year-old English lit student Pollyanna who is ready to start a love story of her own. Bar worker Owain has been moved to the kitchen at his job for flirting with too many customers. His date is 17-year-old hairdressing student Matilda, who is looking to give her love life a 'zhoosh', but is left speechless upon hearing about Owain's flirtatious workplace antics.
Seventeen-year-old 'gentle giant' Harry is a corporal in the air cadets, but he's not in command of his love life. His date, 16-year-old Isobel, is also still getting to grips with her confidence, but will they find romance? Fred Sirieix oversees that liaison, and others.
First into the restaurant is Chelsi, a 16-year-old dance student with an infectious laugh. Hoping to keep her amused is Derbyshire lad Mitch. Will he match up to Chelsi's strict dress code?
Gracie, who went to an all-girls school, has been matched with 18-year-old Daniel, who likes to wrestle, and fashion-lover Wesley hopes Luke will be his perfect date.
Vegan Izzie has a passion for the planet, and Izaac might be Mr Right, while Josh is from the Yorkshire Dales is matched with Jack from Sheffield.
