In Flikken, the police team of Ghent is followed. We also see what goes on in the private lives of the agents.
While awaiting Tony's return, Britt doesn't make it easy for her new partners. Commissioner Vanbruaene gives Britt one more chance. And a new partner.
The duo must immediately turn out for a traffic accident with hit and run: a young mother is hit by a heavy car right in front of her son. The officers find that the only witness is acting strangely. Vanneste and Selattin both applied for the same job. But Pasmans has good news for Vanneste.
A young joyrider is stopped by men in police uniform and shot unceremoniously. His girlfriend is a witness and fears for her life. The cops team tries to get to the bottom of the matter and track down the girl before the killers can.
Britt hangs out with her new partner and that takes some getting used to. Vanneste blames Nadine for preferring Selattin. Bruno doesn't let Vanneste get in the way.
The Commisariat only talks about one thing: Commissioner Vanbruaene and Vanneste. That does not improve when Nadine's ex appears: he comes to report the disappearance of his stepdaughter.
Britt and Pasmans investigate the case and meet the spirited roommate of the missing girl.
Raymond tries to put an end to an annual phenomenon: the smearing of the statue of King Baudouin in the Citadel Park.
Through an innocent fire, the inspectors track down a case of organized telephone fraud. It soon becomes apparent that the gang is involved in a tangle of criminal activities.
Vanneste's farewell party has left the necessary traces on the team members. Nadine goes on vacation and asks Britt to take over her duties. Britt doesn't like that at all and shifts everything to Raymond.
It is also waiting for the arrival of the new motard, Nick Debbaut. He is preceded by his reputation and the beautiful and evil Catherine.
Britt is relieved to find that the body in the field is not Liana's. Her brother Adrian still believes she is safe in London, but Britt and Pasmans have their doubts.
For Britt, the battle with the head of the gang becomes very personal. Her acquaintance with his lawyer Johan Van Lancker also goes quite stormy.
Raymond takes his new responsibilities very seriously and the team members, except for Pasmans, believe that he is doing it very well. Nick is still looking for lodging.
When Raymond takes his grandson Jonas to school in the morning, he sees a masked duo break into a bank. Raymond immediately raises the alarm, but when he hears shooting, he rushes into the bank branch. And leave grandson Jonas alone in the car.
Sofie Beeckman does a new undercover operation and tries to track down a drug gang through Robin Coster. But along the way, she wonders where her real loyalties lie. Her request to stop the operation is met with a blunt refusal. At her wits' end, Sofie goes to Nadine.
Now that Pasmans has decided to work with Raymond again, Britt meets her new partner: Sofie Beeckman. When a high school student is hit by a stray bullet, the two women embark on their first joint investigation.
Tired of Nick still staying with him, Bruno pressures him to find an apartment. The high rent is no problem because Bruno promises to find Nick a roommate. Britt gets a phone call from the headmistress: Dorien has a heated argument with the son of an old acquaintance.
The cops team gets not one, not two, but three tips that morning. Reluctantly, Britt and Sofie have to hang out with slum landlord Taverniers, who suspects that one of his former tenants is planning a robbery on a jeweler.
Since the kidnapping of Jonas, Raymond has had a very hard time. And when young Lisa becomes the innocent victim of criminal scum, Raymond goes crazy.
Pasmans makes a shocking discovery in his partner's locker. Nick is far from set up with his co-tenant, but Bruno washes his hands in innocence.
Johan Van Lancker appears at the police station and confides in Britt: he suspects that a colleague of his, Yolande Hebberecht, is in trouble. Britt and Sofie learn about the lawyer, but she denies all the problems.
Until the next day things get violently out of hand and Britt is shocked to find out that Johan is her first suspect.
Against her will, Merel interrogates Raymond in connection with the incident in the hospital that Mihriban Ates witnessed. Merel advises Pasmans not to talk to Mihriban at all.
Little Pieter Vereecke is on his way home when he collapses in the street. After an investigation at the hospital, it comes to light that the boy has taken a large dose of drugs. Britt and Sofie and Pieter's mother are puzzled. Until Britt and Sofie discover that his oldest brother does not have a good past.
Pasmans has asked to spend the night together with Raymond. The atmosphere between the two partners seems to have deteriorated.
Britt fears that she has thoroughly spoiled it with Johan. Sophie decides not to stand idly by. Until she also sees an unexpected visitor.
Nick and Bruno investigate an unusual burglary at a vet: the perpetrators were only interested in the medicine cabinet.
Merel and the Internal Supervision Service are starting an investigation into the serious collision in which Raymond and Pasmans were involved. Things are very bad for Pasmans.
The situation has completely cleared up between Britt and Johan as well as Sofie and Robin. Only Nick doesn't seem pleased with Robin's interest in Sofie.
Now in prison, Roman Dashi fears for the life of his daughter Selina. Through Johan he asks the police for protection. Britt isn't inclined to give in to her old enemy, but still sends Nick and Bruno after the girl.
Nadine tells Pasmans that she has heard from the zone chief that he is facing a particularly severe sanction. Pasmans is completely upset, but continues to refuse to reveal the true facts of the accident. It dawns on Raymond where his indifference can lead and he talks to Merel.
After Roman Dashi's escape and a sinister find in his cell, the squad of cops is deeply concerned for the safety of Britt and Dorien.
Nick and Bruno never lose sight of mother and daughter. Despite everything, Britt wants to keep doing her job and track down Selina's killers.
Raymond and Pasmans are also not indifferent, but in the meantime are waiting with a frightened heart for the decision of the zone chief.
