Four in a Bed is a British reality television game show that has been airing on Channel 4 since 22 November 2010. The show involves four B&B owners, who take turns to stay with one another - and pay what they consider fair for their stay. The winner is the establishment named best value for money.
The competition kicks off at Brook Meadow, near Market Harborough in Leicestershire. Host Claire is banking on the appeal of her interior design skills and picturesque location.
The second visit is to the Apollo Inn in Barlborough, where host James claims his poached eggs are the best in the business - and there are certainly no complaints at breakfast.
The B&Bers head to The Swan Inn in Letton, Herefordshire, run by Luke and best friend Heather. Their freshly renovated coaching inn has expectations high, and the guests are impressed by how sparklingly new everything is. Disappointment is the order of the day at breakfast, though, when the guests are left out in the cold by the continental offering.
Steph and Martin welcome the B&Bers to White Mark Glamping in Watlington, Oxfordshire. Some of their guests aren't quick to embrace the Great Outdoors, especially upon discovering the communal shower blocks and lack of electrics.
It's payment day, and time for the B&Bers to settle some scores and find out how much they've been paid. One B&Ber comes under fire for the harsh criticisms they left throughout the week, while toilet troubles and cleanliness concerns are at the top of one pair's agenda. After opinions are aired and differences debated, the payments are revealed and the winner is finally announced.
The first visit this week is to The Lazy Pug in Warwickshire, run by best friends Ash and Rosie, where the quirky décor and neon lighting gives some of the guests a headache
The B&Bers head to the Welsh capital Cardiff to stay at Crofts Hotel, run by chef Lorraine. They're all expecting a knockout breakfast, but some uninvited guests ruin things for some.
Anthony hosts this week's third visit at The Hollybush Inn in Warwickshire. His 16th-century coaching inn wows the guests with its history. But some think the cleanliness needs updating.
The B&Bers go glamping in the week's last visit, at The Pretty Thing glampsite in Essex. Ash and Rosie embrace the luxe of their Aztec tent before host Phil serves his first-ever breakfast.
It's payment day, and the B&Bers reconvene to feud about facilities, bicker over beds and cross swords over sausages, before the payments are revealed and the winner is announced
The first visit this week is to Abbey Court Guest House in Carlisle. Host Kelly aims to impress with plush rooms and abseiling. But will breakfast complaints send her chances off a cliff?
Glam couple Rob and Heloisa host at The Lime Tree Inn in Yorkshire, where chef Rob pulls out all the stops at breakfast. It's a shame the cleaners in Kelly's bathroom didn't do the same.
Visit three this week is to Holly Grove Farm in Staffordshire. Hosts Dave and Karon think that their rural glampsite is a tucked-away idyll, and their guests concur - apart from one...
The B&Bers head to Lincolnshire for the week's final visit, where Pav hosts at his Beldon House B&B. Can he overcome his guests' grumbles about cleanliness and instant coffee?
One B&Ber comes under fire on payment day for some suspicious scoring, while a confusing breakfast rating is high on the agenda for another. But most importantly, who's won the week?
The competition begins at The Oaks Luxury Lodges in County Londonderry. Hosts Louise and Lynsey hope the heritage of their hometown will win the B&Bers over. But breakfast proves divisive.
Bridie hosts the week's second visit, at Pine Tree Hollow Glamping in Leitrim, Co Down, and is keen to show her guests that back to basics does not mean boring.
Isabel and her right-hand woman Aisling aim to wow the guests at their luxury Ness Wood Glamping site in Co Londonderry.
The final visit of the week is to Dulrush Fishing Lodge on the banks of Lough Erne in Co Fermanagh, run by husband-and-wife team Bridie and James. The B&Bers are in awe of the shoreline location, but one pair are disappointed to make some dusty discoveries. Naturally, Bridie and James take their guests out on the water for a spot of fishing, where a confession makes waves.
The hosts meet for one last time to debate their differences and settle some scores. The Oaks Luxury Lodges want to clear up some breakfast bombshells, while Bridie from Pine Tree Hollow Glamping is keen to flush out the problem with her shared facilities. Isabel and Aisling want answers over some tit-for-tat comments, before James and Bridie from Dulrush Fishing Lodge pull back the covers on their bedtime blues.
