not planed. TV Show was canceled.
Cha Cha Un is a popular, albeit somewhat sarcastic magician who creates spectacular performances on stage and on television. His tricks amaze the audience, but few people know — he has a team of secret assistants! However, these are not ordinary magician's assistants: in fact, they are ghosts. But Cha Cha Un is not afraid of creatures from the spirit realm — he treats them as his employees, and they, in turn, consider him their "boss".
One day, his paths cross with Go Seul Hae – a young passionate police officer who can also see ghosts, but is afraid of her abilities. She's investigating an incident involving one of his magic shows. And soon she realizes that the unusual abilities of a magician can become an ideal tool in the fight against crime. She manages to convince him to join the police and help catch violent criminals using his ghostly retinue.
Seul Hae, a police officer with a strong sense of responsibility, witnesses a mugger steal someone's purse on the street. She starts to chase the mugger and ends up in a place where Cha Cha Woong performs a magic trick show in front of the audience. Surrounded by the crowd under colourful lights, Seul Hae mistakes Cha Woong for the mugger and tries to arrest him in the middle of the show. Meanwhile, Cha Woong decides to be on a TV show with the secret behind his magic tricks hidden.
Cha Woong tells Seul Hae that he's working with ghosts, but she says she won't believe it. Cha Woong shows a demonstration and proves that he's not the hit-and-run driver, but a medium who can deliver what Min Ho's spirit wants to say. Although she is persuaded, the real culprit is not easy to catch. With the help of Cha Woong's ghost employees, Seul Hae goes after the true murderer.
Death is better than becoming a shaman! Choi Geom, the General Spirit that Cha Woong's family serves, tries to convince Cha Woong to accept his fate as a shaman. However, Cha Woong endures the General's curse and refuses to give in. Finally, Geom suggests an alternative solution. Cha Woong joins the Civil Police Unit that Seul Hae is in charge of. His motto? "Work short and effortlessly but impressively!"
Cha Woong continues to bring results as a civil police officer, and Seul Hae plays a crucial role in doing so. The more time Cha Woong spends with Seul Hae, the more he grows fond of her to the point where he can't stop thinking about her. On the day of the anniversary of Seul Hae's father's death, Cha Woong and Seul Hae visit her father together.
Cha Woong faces the shocking truth regarding Seul Hae's father, and he decides that he should keep his distance from Seul Hae. On the other hand, Seul Hae is excited to have Cha Woong as her partner and looks forward to solving more crimes together. While filming one of his many magic shows, Cha Woong gets involved in a drug case. At the same time, Seul Hae is following a suspect without realizing the danger lying ahead.
Seul Hae finds a picture while searching through one of Cha Woong's boxes and realizes that there is an unpleasant connection between her dad and Cha Woong. However, Cha Woong chooses to run away from the situation by moving to a new house. Adviser Choi then tries to explain the details regarding the Full Moon Murder, but there is no way for Choi to talk to Seul Hae.
Realizing that he has a little something for Seul Hae, Cha Woong does his best to impress Seul Hae. While doing volunteer work at an orphanage, men who look like gangsters cause a scene, demanding that Head Yoon, the leader of the civil police unit, sell the land on which the orphanage is built. A few days later, while working at her store alone, Head Yoon gets ambushed, critically hurting her head.
Head Yoon lies unconscious at the hospital, and it turns out that the culprit is none other than her closest partner. Realizing that she has made the wrong call, Seul Hae starts the investigation from the beginning, focusing on the right suspect. The investigation continues, and Seul Hae and Cha Woong come up with a little magic show that would lead the suspect into confessing the hard evidence.
Cha Woong doesn't hate the fact that he sees Seul Hae in his dreams, but he's rather confused about his feelings toward her. That's when he hears about Hee Soo's plans to ask Seul Hae to be his lover. Meanwhile, a case report states that there is a similarity between the recent case and the Full Moon Murder. Feeling certain about the correlation, Seul Hae's emotions begin to affect her rational side.
Choi Geom confronts his long-forgotten enemy, but he's not strong enough to take him down himself. Now that the threat is on the loose and imminent, Cha Woong and Seul Hae get ready for a clash. However, Cha Woong wants nothing but safety for Seul Hae, and he acts on his own. Seul Hae eventually finds out about Cha Woong's hidden intention and rushes to find him.
Cha Woong ends up in the hospital unconscious while trying to sort out everything on his own. It seems like an unknown source must have triggered something inside both Cha Woong and Seul Hae, enabling Seul Hae to see ghosts as well. Seul Hae waits anxiously for Cha Woong to wake up, but Cha Woong appears to be lost in his past existence in which he fell deeply in love with the Princess.
Cha Woong wakes up from his past life, but not everyone is glad about his return. Cha Woong shares the stories of his past and how Seul Hae used to be a princess, and Seul Hae also realizes how strong her feelings are for him. Everything seems back to normal, but something about Hee Soo seems very different ever since the night of the encounter.
Seul Hae finds it difficult to be around Hee Soo who seems like a completely different person. Meanwhile, Seul Hae looks into a case of a series of car accidents in which only a specific car is targeted. Later on, Cha Woong and his employees also join her investigation, and they run into a shocking truth behind the accidents.
Seul Hae and Cha Woong grow fond of each other, and the more they get to know each other, the earlier the time for Choi Geom to enter Nirvana will be. When that happens, Cha Woong will lose his ability to see ghosts. Before the inevitable takes place, everyone prepares for their last show together. Meanwhile, Hee Soo plans to seize this opportunity to do what he thinks is necessary.
Before he completely lets go of the current life full of unresolved feelings, Sang Gun shares his story of how he ended up as a ghost. After hearing his story, Cha Woong and all his employees decide to do Sang Gun a favour, which is to arrange a special meeting for Sang Gun with his daughter. Meanwhile, Seul Hae begins to feel uncomfortable around Hee Soo.
The evil spirit continues to consume people one by one with the sole purpose of getting what it wants, and Cha Woong's sacrifice is inevitable in order to put it to sleep once and for all. Knowing how dangerous the situation is, Cha Woong deliberately disappears from Seul Hae's life in the hopes of keeping her safe. With one last clash remaining, Cha Woong must make the choice of his life.
