Next Episode of G'wed is
unknown.
G'wed delves into the working class culture of "surviving with a sense of humour". The distinctive voice of Liverpool and the lived experience of the kids from the city will be at the heart of this comedy, tackling big issues like grief, sex, diversity and class differences with a wicked sense of humour. From Reece, the anti-hero at the heart of the show, a superficially misbehaving, potty-mouthed lad, who constantly surprises, whether that be quoting Mother Teresa, his knowledge of the work of John Steinbeck or his incredibly mature take on grief, to Aimee - ferociously determined, go-getting and emotionally mature – G'wed showcases a part of the country, and a bunch of characters, that you rarely see on TV.
Recently-orphaned "posh muppet" Christopher goes to live with his nan on a council estate in Liverpool. There he forms an unlikely, unholy alliance with working-class Reece.
It's Diversity and Inclusion Week. The pupils are set the task of pairing up with their polar opposite and presenting their differences and common ground in a presentation.
Ted is the envy of the school as he starts dating a popular sixth-former. Ted finds his talk of their spiritual connection beguiling but his date has a secret.
It's Careers Week. A local barrister conducts a mock trial. Reece goes up against Christopher as opposing barristers, while Aimee tries to impress the visiting casting director.
It's Aimee's big night: the opening of the school play, but given the deepening problems at home and the school thinking that she posted defamatory Tik Toks, will she show up?
Inspired by Christopher, Reece tries to track down a close family member that he has never met. Aimee and Mia-Louise have an altercation over their choice of boyfriend.
