Next Episode of Gladiators (AU) 2008 is
unknown.
The colossal clash of Gladiator and Challenger is showcasing to Australia some of the country's most courageous and skilful athletes.
The Gladiators embrace a highly-tuned competitive spirit and bring to the arena floor an insatiable passion for action, sport and entertainment.
Between them the might of the "Gladiators" towers 25.6 metres and weigh in at a formidable 1.19 tonnes.
Working together as a powerful and commanding team, the "Gladiators" are more than strong opponents, they're skilful combatants and the Challengers will have to outwit as well as outplay to gain valuable victories.
Played before an energetic crowd of 2000, each show takes four brave Challengers through four iconic Gladiator games, testing their physical and mental strength against the might of the "Gladiators".
With 13 possible games for the Challengers to come up against, ranging from the swinging sensation of Hang Tough to the tackling force of The Gauntlet or Pyramid to the one-on-one blows of Duel, the Challenger is never quite sure what to expect. Introducing three brand new games - Pendulum, Vertigo and Sumo Ball - will only intensify the action in the arena.
After squaring off against the "Gladiators", and hopefully earning points along the way, the Challengers will then face off against each other for the gruelling Eliminator race. Encompassing nine different confronting obstacles, it is the final chance for the Challengers to proceed to the next exciting round.
Two winners will share in $100,000 and two All Wheel Drive Subaru Foresters, so the struggle is definitely worth digging deep and giving it all they've got. So there will be plenty of sweat and tears, highs and lows, spectacular defeats and victories and emotionally-charged energy flowing in the arena.
