Culinary superstar and CEO Gordon Ramsay and business mogul Janine Allis will mentor and guide competing teams in Gordon Ramsay's Food Stars.Breaking into the multi-billion-dollar food industry can be an impossible feat unless you're lucky enough to have some big investors. Gordon and Janine are on the hunt for Australia's most exciting and innovating new food ideas – searching high and low for the next food star to mentor and invest in.Contestants will need to pitch their concept to win a spot in the competition, before surviving high pressure challenges and an intense grilling from two reigning food stars, determined to see if they've got the raw ingredients to become Food Stars. They'll need to prove they have what it takes when it comes to service, marketing, branding and event management.Battling it out for their place at the top will be Gordon and Janine's competing teams – 14 potential food stars who are ambitious, competitive and creative. With one winning idea from each team to take home a cash prize to kickstart their new business, everything is on the line.
Gordon and Janine challenge their teams to create and execute an interactive publicity stunt for Cadbury's new chocolate range. Plus, the entrepreneurs are tasked with the creation of a unique, easy to follow meal-kit, with Gordon and Janine stepping into the kitchen to put their teams' products to the test.

In the semi-final, Gordon and Janine put their own brands on the line as the entrepreneurs develop and pitch original concepts for Boost Juice and Vibrante Bianco wine.
In the season finale, the two remaining entrepreneurs from each team have 24 hours to re-work their original business pitches, working with experts and the added experience and knowledge they have learnt across the series, and present them to a live audience. Who will be crowned Gordon Ramsay and Janine Allis' Food Stars?
