Gordon also wants to see how they work in a team using the finest local produce, so challenges them to run food shacks on a beach. It might sound simple, but how will they cope when hundreds of hungry tourists descend on Newquay? The teams must show that they can meet Gordon's exacting standards and scrutiny. Will they thrive under pressure or crumble as the orders come flooding in?
Then, in the biggest test of all, they come face-to face with Gordon. There's nowhere to hide as he grills them on their performance this week. Only the ones who impress will continue on this epic adventure.
Tonight, Gordon sends his 11 contenders back to basics, testing their raw skills and pure talent. First, he invites the entrepreneurs to a world-renowned artisan smoked salmon business in Hackney Wick. Can they master traditional techniques against the clock? Who has natural flair, and who will crack under pressure?
Next, Gordon challenges the teams to embrace the great outdoors and create an incredible feast in the forest. Foraging for ingredients and cooking on open fires, can they bring the woodland to the table and create theatre for paying guests?
Finally, it's crunch-time as the contenders come face-to-face with Gordon. Who will make the grade, and who will be sent home?

First, Gordon sends his contenders to the glorious Lake District – it's an epic location that will see them having to dig deep to succeed. Not only will the teams have to hit Gordon's surprise brief, they'll need to overcome their fears as they face a terrifying challenge 1,000 feet in the air.
Next, Gordon ramps up his demands to discover who's a jack of all trades. They'll need to master product development, marketing, design, social media and pitching their ideas to a panel of world-class experts. It's a relentless ask, and the demands keep coming. Who will prove to be an all-rounder, and who will drop the ball?
Finally, it's the biggest test of all, as they come face-to face with Gordon. There's nowhere to hide as he grills the contenders on their performance this week. Who will survive a one-on-one with the man himself and who will he send home?
This time, it's all about fast food. Gordon invites the contenders to a high-end diner in the Cotswolds and challenges them to take over the reins. How will they deal with a busy lunchtime rush and with Gordon's attempt to order a burger from the drive-thru?
Next, Gordon wants the teams to create an online delivery service. Unbeknownst to them, as well as challenging them to feed hungry office workers nearby, Gordon has invited Will Shu, founder of Deliveroo, and the heads of high street fast food chains Wahaca and Wagamama to lunch, and they have decided to order online. Will the secret panel of industry giants give their orders a thumbs up, or will it be a one-star review?
Finally, the teams come face-to-face with Gordon to unpick their fast food performance this week. Who will survive their one-on-one, and who will be sent packing?
Tonight, Gordon is testing how well his contenders make decisions under pressure. Their task is to identify award-winning cheeses by taste and smell alone. But there's a catch - to find the cheese they must navigate through terrifying narrow caves, hundreds of feet below ground.
Next, Gordon asks the teams to create healthy snacks for the harshest critics of all – kids. Using ingredients harvested from an organic farm, can the contenders succeed at the toughest task, making children eat their greens?
Finally, the contenders come face-to-face with Gordon to try to convince him they should stay. Someone has to leave, so who will Gordon send packing?

Next, Gordon sets arguably his toughest challenge to date, putting the contenders in charge of the jewel in his restaurant crown, the Savoy Grill. With his reputation on the line and paying diners expecting immaculate food and service, will the contenders live up to Gordon's extraordinarily high standards?
It's semi-final week and Gordon Ramsay is nearing the end of his epic search. He cranks up the pressure as the remaining contenders battle it out for a coveted place in the final and inch one step further to winning his £150,000 investment.
