Grosse Pointe

WB's sitcom Grosse Pointe is a show about what happens behind-the-scenes of the WB drama Grosse Pointe. It is a parody of teen soaps like Beverly Hills, 90210, which creator Darren Star also created. The crew of the show-within-the-show includes Rob, the executive producer, Dave, Johnny's stand-in, and Kevin, the production assistant. The actors Hunter, Quentin, Marcy, and Johnny have been acting in Grosse Pointe (the drama) for three years when Courtney joins the cast in the pilot (of the sitcom).
