The 2016 HA!IFAX COMEDY FEST cracks like a whip and moves like a bullet. The series is hosted by the hilarious Mark Critch (This Hour Has 22 Minutes) and features more than 60 stand-up performances in various locations around Halifax, including one of the city's oldest pubs and its newest soft-seat theatre. This year's edition features 30 Canadian and international comedians, including festival favourites Derek Edwards, Bob Marley, Seán Cullen, Dave Hemstad, Elvira Kurt, Cathy Jones (This Hour Has 22 Minutes), Tim Steeves and Rich Hall.Over the years, the HA!IFAX COMEDY FEST has garnered multiple Canadian Comedy Awards and Gemini nominations, including Best Comedy Program in 2011.
