Hawa en Adam

For 15-year-old Hawa, it is the first day at her new school. There, she gets to know Bilo, Titus and Kim. For 17-year-old Adam, it is the first day back awake after 3 years in the coma, a result of an allergic reaction to a wasp sting. He is told he has to stay in hospital for a while longer. As the only patient in the entire hospital, it seems ...

Hawa thinks Kim has written in her book. Together with Titus and Bilo, she gives Kim a taste of her own medicine by adjusting the pictures in her presentation for Dutch class. Adam is unaware that his parents are keeping things from him. He is bored in the hospital, which feels like a prison. He goes in search of the Hawa writing in his book. During a night trip, this is how he stumbles upon the strange Room 309. And then Hawa and Adam discover what is so special about their book.

Adam now knows who Hawa is, and Hawa who Adam is. Through their book, they talk to each other. Adam tells his parents about room 309, and about what he saw there: weird pictures of himself. When he goes with his parents and the doctor to have a look, room 309 turns out to be an ordinary room. No trace of the pictures. Adam is imagining everything, they claim. But Hawa believes Adam and advises him to take another look. This is how Adam discovers that his parents and the doctor are lying to him. But why?

On Hawa's advice, Adam flees from the hospital and goes in search of his good friend Jakob. Hawa goes geocaching with Bilo and Titus, a hobby of Titus. When Adam arrives at Jacob's, no one is home. Adam makes a bizarre discovery: the handwriting on the card, which according to Adam's sister Sam was written by Jakob, does not match Jakob's handwriting. Why is Sam lying about that?

Adam verblijft bij Thomas, een jongen van zestien die op zichzelf leeft. Thomas vertelt Adam hoe de wereld veranderd is, dat een virus alle 16-jarigen doodt en dat ze daardoor allemaal de ruimte in moeten. Hawa vindt het maar een vreemd verhaal, Thomas beeldt zich dat in. Adam moet daar weg. En dan ziet Adam beelden van zijn vriend Jakob in SPARC-1. Vertelt Thomas dan toch de waarheid?

Adam stays with Thomas, a sixteen-year-old boy who lives on his own. Thomas tells Adam how the world has changed, that a virus is killing all 16 year olds and that means they all have to go into space. Hawa thinks it's a strange story, Thomas imagines it. Adam has to get out of there. And then Adam sees images of his friend Jakob in SPARC-1. Is Thomas telling the truth after all?

Hawa and Adam were at the Faar at the same time, and yet they could not see each other. How is that possible? Hawa is disappointed in Adam and would rather forget him. Adam is disappointed in his parents. Because they lied to him. The atmosphere is depressed when Adam is finally allowed to go home. Titus finds out where and when Adam Pius has basketball practice, and can convince Hawa to go there with him. Will Hawa and Adam finally meet?

Adam discovers that he and Hawa live in a different time. But Hawa has no idea. She is angry because she thinks Adam is a 14-year-old who is making fun of her, and throws her book away. Adam realizes that the Hawa living in his time must be on SPARC-1. He contacts his friend Jakob and asks him to look for Hawa there. Will Adam and Hawa find each other again?

Hawa has regained her trust in Adam and now realizes that they live in a different time. When her mother is admitted to the hospital, she contacts Adam. He has to visit her mother in his time. Hawa wants to know if her mom will heal...

Adam convinces Hawa that the two of them must change the course of history together. They will ensure that the virus never breaks out in her time, thus saving the world. Who was infected with the virus first? Hawa and Adam go together to look for patient zero.

Together with Adam, Hawa removes the fingerprint from the glass. With that fingerprint, Adam can break into Doctor Lucas computer and find out who patient zero is. And that turns out to be someone they know very well ...

Adam and Hawa want to prevent the virus from breaking out, and so Hawa has to become good friends with Kim. Only then can Hawa come along to Medico, and prevent Kim from being bitten by the ferret from cage 22C.

Today is the day when Hawa and Adam must change the course of history. Will they succeed? And will Adam remember Hawa?
