Next Episode of Hong Kong Phooey is
not planed. TV Show was canceled.
Hong Kong Phooey is a 30-minute Saturday morning animated series produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions and broadcast on ABC from September 7, 1974, to December 21, 1974. It was a parody of kung-fu shows and movies of the time. The main character, Hong Kong Phooey himself, is the clownishly clumsy secret identity of Penrod "Penry" Pooch, working at a police station as a "mild-mannered" janitor under the glare of Sergeant Flint ("Sarge").
Phooey tracks down a super-villain who robs banks by using his tornado-strength lung power.
Phooey is called to track down a criminal who can disappear without a trace.
A villainous master of disguise uses his skills for a number of bank robberies.
An evil businessman terrorizes the town into buying his umbrellas.
Tin Nose, a conniving cowboy of crime, frames Hong Kong Phooey for the theft of a rare map to The Lost Dutchman Mine from a museum. It's up to Honcho, The Mystery Maverick, and Posse Impossible to help corral Tin Nose and clear Hong Kong's name.
