Welcome to Valdosta, Georgia. It's a small town with everything you'd expect in the South - warm air, picturesque sunsets, and true Southern hospitality. It's also home to some of the most beautiful girls around. "Hot GRITS" follows a group of loud, brash, and hilarious girls raised in the south. Emily, Bear, Ratchet, Jenna, Sarah, Hailey, and Jennifer may have similar southern twang in their voices, but they all wear their daisy dukes a little differently.
In the premiere, the gals gather at the lake, but Sarah's ex sours the sweet time. In other events, Ratchet hosts a barbecue; and the gals try to get Emily to eat raccoon meat.
Emily fixes Ratchet up on a date; Bear calls out Lion for not telling his parents about their marriage; and DeWayne talks trash about Sarah to her friends.
Sarah throws a party to celebrate being single; another girl is trading texts with Sarah's ex; and Emily plots revenge for having been served raccoon meat.
