Next Episode of I Hear the Sunspot is
not planed. TV Show was canceled.
The story starts with college student Taichi, who comes from a not-so-well-off household and is desperately searching for work. He (literally) stumbles across fellow student Kouhei while on a job hunt, and is incredibly enticed by the delicious bento Kouhei has in hand. However, something seems a bit off about Kouhei and when Taichi consults his friends about it, he gets an answer he really wasn't expecting: Kouhei is severely hearing impaired.
Taichi starts accompanying Kohei to class, taking notes in exchange for boxed lunches.
Taichi and Kohei start to get on with each other, but Kohei starts to have reservations about their relationship.
One of Kohei's bentos makes Taichi remember a childhood memory, which causes Taichi to open up and share with Kohei.
When the summer break arrives, Taichi starts working part time, while Kohei's hearing ability gradually worsens.
Taichi decides to look for Kohei at his house after not seeing him for a while, and learns about his friend's illness from his mother.
Kohei and Taichi go on a camping trip with their classmates, but it's obvious neither of them can get over the kiss that happened between them.
Maya, a girl with the same condition as Kohei, comes into the picture, and this makes Taichi a little concerned.
Maya's aggressiveness threatens Taichi, and Kohei's cooking skills impresses Taichi and his grandfather.
Taichi learns of Kohei's ambition and begins to think about his future when he meets someone on the road.
Taichi has new ideas about the future after expanding his horizons, but this also creates a barrier between him and Kohei.
Taichi makes a decision about his life, and at the same time, he and Kohei come to a point where their lives will no longer cross paths.
At the summer festival, Taichi meets with Kohei again after not seeing each other for a long time; the two of them finally talk about what's on their minds.
