Jessie is an American sitcom which premiered on September 30, 2011 on Disney Channel. The series was created and executive produced by Pamela Eells O'Connell and stars Debby Ryan as Jessie Prescott, a small town Texas girl who moves to New York City to try to become an actress but instead she becomes a nanny to a high profile couple's four children played by Peyton List, Cameron Boyce, Karan Brar, and Skai Jackson. When Mrs. Kipling becomes a celebrity, it puts a strain on her relationship with Ravi. Meanwhile, Bertram preps Emma for an audition and Zuri tries to be more independent.
Stuart tells the Ross kids about a ghost named Abigail while trick-or-treating; Jessie attends a masquerade and meets a boy.
Jessie books a commercial but needs to relearn the skills listed on her resume; Ravi tells Luke that a meteor is headed for Earth.
The series concludes with Christina Ross returning home and Jessie heading to Los Angeles for a role in a movie. But when the kids realize they still need Jessie, they follow her to Hollywood.
