Jo Brand's Cats and Kittens

Jo follows teams who work to save the nation's cats from harm, including 20 firefighters who try to help a kitten stuck in a storm drain. She also visits RSPCA Harmsworth in north London, where she meets a cat who survived falling more than four storeys. In Liverpool, RSPCA officer Paul gets an emergency call about a cat tied to a fence.

Animal welfare officer Matt Brown receives a call about a family of kittens hiding in the loft space above a shop. However, the rescue does not quite go to plan, leaving one little kitten in a sticky situation. Inspector Anthony Pulfer goes to extreme lengths to save a stray tomcat from an inaccessible courtyard in a busy building site, and Jo visits RSPCA Putney, where she meets a kitten with a crushed paw and helps test a feral ginger cat for a potentially life-changing virus.

Inspector Sam Durrant visits an owner who has been reported for keeping his animals - and himself - in unhygienic conditions, and Jo revisits young Stanley to see how his crushed paw is healing.
