Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer are in Chippenham to help Tim and Sonia decide whether to sell or renovate their home. Eight years ago, the couple moved into Tim's childhood home to take care of his elderly mother, now she has passed away Tim and daughter Ella are ready to move on to a fresh start in a new home but Sonia thinks with a little work they can start their new chapter without having to move.
Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer visit Swansea to help Sarah and Caradog, who moved into their four-bedroom home shortly before their third child was born in 2008 and have been struggling for space ever since, with only one bathroom, a cramped kitchen and an office squeezed into the box room. Sarah is ready to list it. But Caradog is determined to love it and is convinced this home can work with Kirstie's magic touch. He also loves the garage and thinks it'll be hard to beat elsewhere. With a long list of problems to solve and a budget of £75,000, Kirstie has a tricky task on her hands. But will a refurbished family heirloom swing it in her favour? Meanwhile, Phil hits the streets with a search budget of £500,000, looking for three fabulous houses to make Caradog question his allegiance to Team Love It.

Since their children have flown the nest, the home isn't right for them anymore and Ruth is ready to sell but avid DIYer Ken wants to stay and thinks with some touch ups their home could still be the place for them.
Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer visit Nilesh and Raakhee in Maidenhead to help them decide whether to love and renovate their home or list it for sale. The couple moved into their four-bedroom house two years ago but since their child was born a year ago, the small shut-off kitchen has become a big issue and Nilesh would like to be closer to family in Leicestershire but Raakhee believes that with a bit of love, care and fixing-up it could be their forever home.
Kirstie and Phil head to Warwickshire to help Gill and John, a couple who can't agree what to do with their inherited two-bed home. With two growing children, John can't see this house ever working, but Gill can't imagine living anywhere else.
Frank and Wilma are at an impasse over their four-bed family home in Strathaven. Now that their kids are flying the nest, Wilma has her sights set on the west coast. But Frank thinks they can still have many more happy years in the house.

Phil catches up with Carol and Andrew from Harrogate, who he first met in 2016 when they were at loggerheads over their beautiful three-bedroom home. Back then, Team Love It Andrew's feet were 'set in concrete' and he was adamant that they couldn't find a better location for them and their two children. Carol on the other hand was ready to list. As well as the dated, cramped kitchen, she could see a not-so-distant future where her dad Dennis may need to move into a house that was already bursting at the seams. With three generations to consider, Kirstie came up with an ingenious plan to create the family kitchen and extra bedroom space they needed, working to a budget of £60,000. Phil on the other hand had £475,000 to convince Andrew to up sticks. He showed them three beautiful homes in the Yorkshire countryside, one of which stole Carol's heart, and Andrew's resolve was seriously tested. But when the dust settled after an emotional decision chat with Kirstie and Phil, who was buying the drinks? Seven years on, Phil finds out if Carol and Andrew stuck to their decision and what they did next.
