Alison and her crew are in Idaho to crash the Blog Cabin kitchen. With the walls already up and drywalled, Alison and Grundy can concentrate on building some big DIYs. Up first, a giant table made of black walnut with custom light-up lettering for the formal dining area. For the kitchen, they build stools out of fresh timber, channeling out sections and adding a resin and copper mix that will sparkle underneath the breakfast bar. Finishes include dual colored cabinetry with under cabinet lighting, dual colored quartz backsplash and countertops, stainless steel appliances and a custom-built chef's pantry.

Space is at a premium in this city kitchen, so Alison has to get creative. She blocks off a window to make space for a refrigerator, pantry and desk area and then builds the entire design upwards using triple stacked cabinetry. Track lighting, under cabinet lighting and in-cabinet lighting help light and break up the space. Quartz countertops that look like marble and stainless steel appliances, including a hood with a double extension to the ceiling, add to the look. A chevron patterned backsplash, DIY island and personalized desk area backsplash give the space a one-of-a-kind touch.

Alison and the Kitchen Crashers crew tackle a dated kitchen with terrible sense of flow. This renovation starts by donating all the cabinets and demolishing two short walls to create a new sense of space. Then elements like a new center island, cabinets and countertops start flying in. Add to that custom details which Alison builds with the homeowners including a small mud cubby, doggie feeding station, and baskets made from paint sticks to store both human and dog items.

Tara and Joe love to brunch, and they love the look of kitchens they see in catalogs, so Alison Victoria has her work cut out of her to give them a personalized space with a catalog look. She starts by eliminating the old peninsula and replacing it with a DIY island perfect for laying out a brunch spread. For the seating area, Alison adds a built-in banquette, wood paneled wall and "green" light fixture. The soffits are gone and replaced with floor to ceiling dark wood cabinetry, the tiny "chicken nugget" oven gets an upgrade to a full-size double oven and ugly tile flooring is replaced with wood.

By removing a window and making a second window shorter, she's able to move the sink, flip the fridge location and create a focal wall with a range and hood that makes all the difference. Once the layout is locked down, navy and white cabinetry give the space a new shape and a butcher block island top, muted metallic backsplash and stainless steel appliances give it style.

Alison and the homeowners set their sights on the custom touches like barstools, dimensional shelves and a map wall treatment. The homeowners are overwhelmed at the transformation.

When Alison finds Toni and Jason in the hardware store they're in desperate need of a kitchen that not only functions, but fits Jason! Alison takes on the challenge and changes up the layout, breaking into a guest bedroom closet to make space for a built-in pantry and closing up a window to add wall space for cabinetry. Decades old patterned flooring is replaced with a floating wood floor, an island with a concrete top adds prep space and can lighting replaces Jason holding a flashlight for Toni while she cooks. A DIY hutch gives additional space and style while crayon-themed artwork adds some color and fun. And the biggest surprise of them all, Jason pops the question right before the big reveal!

After demo, what was once the most hated room in the house doubles in size to become one of the largest kitchens of the show. The transformation begins with new floors, cabinets, and countertops. Then custom items are built like a rolling bar cart, note panels in the cabinet doors, and a light fixture that gets a facelift with a "crate shade." There are both tears of joy and laughter when these homeowners finally get to see this enormous space.

The final reveal leaves the homeowners feeling like they've just walked into someone else's house.

Alex and Joe have a giant deck on the roof of their garage, but they've let it sit for nearly eight years because they've been too overwhelmed by the lack of privacy to build it up. Luckily, Alison has ideas and starts her design by enclosing the space with slatted pine privacy walls. To add function, she designs three separate spaces, a kitchen, dining area and lounge. In the kitchen, Alison brings in a giant grill, beverage refrigerator, cabinets, granite countertops and a sink. Alison and Alex team up to make DIY side tables that will go in the lounge area, right by the new fire pit. In the elevated dining area, Alison has seating for 8, a turf floor and plants to give the space a cozy feel.

When Alison walks into John and Kerry's kitchen, she realizes they weren't kidding around, the space is in desperate need for a crash. Without much additional space to expand into, Alison takes on the layout first, closing off several windows and breaking out the wall into the butler's pantry to make space for the L-shaped kitchen. With more wall space available, Alison adds dual colored cabinetry and open shelving in every direction, giving this family more storage and prep space than they ever thought possible. Granite countertops, laminate flooring and a DIY organization wall give the kitchen a fresh start and a chance at durability against the couple's four young boys.
