Norway in the future. Anton and Emma are 16, living in the same city, but in different climate zones. They were never meant to meet, and certainly not fall in love. But when they do, they must turn their worlds upside down to be together.
Anton must meet a puberty expert while Frida finds a new friend in Emma. She thinks that Emma can pass for a dome dweller, but she's wrong.
Something is wrong in Haven. A virus has entered the dome. It spreads and the residents panic. But not Emma and Anton. They are busy with other things.
Emma and Anton are never to see each other again. Once more, the Supreme Council decide that Anton has done enough stupid things - but he hasn't.
Anton worries that Emma has forgotten him. Emma worries that Anton has been leading her on. Anton takes a chance and risks everything.
Looks like something went completely wrong!
