Set in 1970 and inspired by true events, Las Azules tells the story of four women who defy the ultra-conservative norms of the time and join Mexico's first female police force, only to discover that their squad is a publicity stunt to distract the media from a brutal serial killer. As the body count grows, María, whose determination to catch the killer becomes an obsession, Gabina, an aspiring officer, Ángeles, a brilliant fingerprint analyst, and Valentina, a young rebel, set up a secret investigation to achieve what no other male officer has been able to do and bring the serial killer to justice.
As a serial killer targeting women terrorizes the city, María, Valentina, Gabina, and Ángeles join the first female police force.
María and the other Azules stumble upon a new victim of the Undresser and watch as a man they believe is innocent gets arrested.
Dissatisfied with the detectives' conclusions, the Azules conduct their own investigation off the books.
Another Undresser victim is found, confirming the Azules' suspicions. Their investigation points detectives to a new suspect.
Romandía gets pulled into the investigation as the Azules uncover a clue that may reveal the Undresser's identity.
The detectives take drastic measures to find answers. María seeks the help of someone who can offer new insight: a convicted serial killer.
The Azules turn their attention to unsolved murders, hoping to find a connection to the Undresser.
María and Ángeles interview the adopted son of a woman named Rosa, who the Azules believe may have been the Undresser's first victim.
The Azules work with the detectives to stage a trap for the man they think is the Undresser—but things don't go as planned.
Season finale. The Azules pull their resources together to try and save one of their own, putting the future of the female police force at risk.
