Next Episode of LateLine is
not planed. TV Show was canceled.
A spoof on Nightline, ABC's latenight news program, LateLine takes a look not only at how the news comes about each day and the antics in the office, but also delves a little into the private lives of the characters. Since it's a news show, it often has real life 'celebrities' from various backgrounds, such as Senator John Kerry, Conan O'Brien, and Barry Scheck, to name a few.
Like many other sitcoms, it has nearly no continuity between episodes (for example, Mona has a devoted lover in one episode and no mention of him thereafter). Also, many episodes focus on one or two of the characters in more detail, taking turns from one character to another.
Lastly, the show had the plug pulled quite suddenly, and as such, had filmed seven episodes that hadn't aired; they are, however, available on DVD.
