Old-school police detective Pierre Niemans and his free-spirited former student Camille Delaunay specialise in solving complex murder cases that involve an unusual brutality far beyond the capacity of regular police departments to understand.
The two detectives are asked to escort a dangerous criminal to a rehabilitation centre. Niemans does not approve of the methods employed at the centre.
Having found the escapees, Niemans looks for their accomplice. The hunt comes together on one stormy night.
A young woman is found dead in a ruined castle under mysterious circumstances that are reminiscent of a past crime. Camille's ex-colleague is in urgent need of her help.
Camille and Chloe are plunged into a nightmare world. When Camille is taken in the middle of the night, Chloe calls for reinforcements.
