Livin' Lozada follows the lives of Evelyn Lozada, of Basketball Wives fame, and her 21-year-old daughter, Shaniece. Evelyn has moved on from the heartache of her highly publicized divorce in a big way. She is engaged to big-league baseball player Carl Crawford, and the happy couple have a 1-year-old son, Leo.
Between learning to be a mom all over again, setting up a new home in Los Angeles, working on getting the sequel to her first book published and dealing with issues surrounding her family back east, Evelyn has a lot going on!
Not to be outdone, her daughter, Shaniece, has a blossoming modeling career and is working on starting her own bikini line, looking to her mom for advice (which she sometimes takes).
Evelyn, Carl and Leo head back to Arizona while Shaniece is left to deal with separation anxiety and a move of her own; later, Evelyn receives news that could change her life.
Evelyn jets to Los Angeles to appear on a prime time talk show; Shaniece clashes with her manager over her career; Evelyn tries to talk Sha into going to Houston with her.
Shaniece and Evelyn head to Houston for Thanksgiving with Carl's family and Evelyn hears some bad news; Evelyn gives Carl a tour of her old neighborhood in the Bronx.
Evelyn arranges for Sylvia to reconnect with a loved one through famed psychic John Edward; and Sha wonders whether her dream career will ever come true.
Evelyn gives Leo and Shaniece each a new puppy; Shaniece goes to therapy to address lingering issues from her and her mother's past.
Shaniece asks Evelyn to go with her to therapy so they can work on something they have both struggled with; Evelyn tries to help a domestic abuse survivor.
Evelyn and her brand manager, Danika, have a falling out over some business issues; Shaniece comes to realize she may have OCD; Evelyn mentors a pregnant teen who reminds her of her younger self.
Evelyn continues to struggle with conception as her 40th birthday approaches, leading her to make a difficult decision; Shaniece reaches out to Bow Wow for career advice.
