Lizzie's in a tizzy because Mr. Dig (Arvie Lowe Jr.) has taken her concern about his fast-food eating habits to mean he's invited to share a home-cooked meal with the McGuires. After some initial awkwardness, Lizzie decides that she's okay with seeing her teacher outside of school, but all that changes after "Digsby" becomes too chummy with Sam.
Lizzie worries that she's becoming a tomboy after she shows up the guys in gym and flag-football, so she tries to develop a more feminine image. At home, Matt gets some unexpected homework help from a monkey.
Lizzie and Miranda are mortified when Kate (Ashlie Brillault) spies them having a ball at a stage version of their favorite children's show. Also, Matt puts a collection of dirt on display.
