Stacy introduces Les as Leslie to their friends. After a big fight with Cindy, Troy goes to therapy. Jennifer tells neighbors that Larry has a major announcement. Beverly is crushed when she learns her husband of 22 years is going to live as a woman.
With Jennifer's support, Larry comes out to their neighbors at Ladies' Night. Troy tells Cindy he's going to get a makeover to look more like Lucy. Stacy & Leslie get romantic. As Beverly tries to chill out, Karen heats things up with a new hairdo.
When Troy goes to a club as Lucy, it fuels a fight with Cindy. Jennifer gets emotional after taking Lawren to get women's clothes & her hair done. After Stacy & Leslie investigate facial feminization, a surprise romantic proposal takes place.
Cindy and Troy's relationship is further tested; Stacy and Leslie stress over finances and deal with a new health concern; nervous Beverly hopes to reconnect with her and Karen's eldest child, Cas, who is also transgender, who comes home for a visit.
Stacy and Leslie face potentially dangerous health issues while preparing for their child's birth. Beverly, Karen, and Cas experience an emotionally explosive therapy session. Cindy and Troy try to make their relationship work.
Cindy begins to open up her mind to Troy's transition, but draws a line when it comes to sex. After a stressful labor, Stacy delivers her baby, and Leslie heads off to surgery. Jennifer convinces Lawren to come out to her mother.
With an uncertain future, Cindy braces herself to meet Lucy. Tensions flare as Beverly, Karen and Cas move out. Leslie hopes for acceptance as she comes out to her family. Lawren and Jennifer meet with the doctor to discuss gender confirmation surgery.
