unknown.
Louisiana Law follows the men and women of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries as they patrol one of the most geographically diverse states in the U.S., with a jurisdiction that ranges from 200 miles out into the Gulf of Mexico up to the border of Arkansas. With the authority to enforce all fish and wildlife laws in addition to state and federal criminal laws, the wildlife agents of Louisiana are tasked with protecting the natural resources of the state and are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, often patrolling alone and miles from backup.
A suspicious encounter in a quiet neighborhood leads wildlife agents to a black market venison sale. A routine boating check ends with a wanted man in handcuffs, and agents launch a massive search for a 93-year-old boater lost in dangerous conditions.
LDWF biologists on a conservation mission get hands-on with black bear cubs, facing a protective mama bear; hunters get caught using a banned method to hunt ducks; wildlife agents stake out after dark for a felon with an illegal gun.
When a child is thrown from a boat and badly injured, wildlife agents are first on the scene. A night hunter faces multiple felony charges when agents make a grave discovery, agents confront a jet ski rider who risks drowning and gets belligerent.
When a pair of illegal hunters flee by truck, wildlife agents set out to track them down. Heaps of trash dumped at a fishing spot lead to a suspect who denies any wrongdoing, and damning evidence in a truck bed catches a hunter in a lie.
A suspicious man fleeing on the levee after dark puts wildlife agents in danger. A first-time bowhunter could lose his kill over a major violation, and agents question a duck hunter with an attitude who seems to be hiding something.
Wildlife agents track down a hunter and discover a violation that could cost him his first bow kill; a strange encounter with a man roaming the levee by night puts agents in danger; duck hunters are caught with alcohol in a restricted area.
Wildlife agents are on patrol to protect Louisiana's big game.
Wildlife agents come to the rescue with specialized skills and gear.
