Next Episode of Makta is
not planed. TV Show was canceled.
The year is 1974, but we are still in Oslo in 2023. The Labor Party is in crisis. The party is torn apart by a conflict between party leader Reiulf Steen and Prime Minister Odvar Nordli. The alcohol flows, so do the leaks. At the same time, the socially engaged doctor Gro Harlem Brundtland becomes entangled in the political power game. She gradually becomes a masterful player and outmaneuvers her opponents. In 1981 she becomes Norway's first female prime minister.
Thirteen women arrive in Oslo. Two men on hunger strike. The new prime minister thinks it is important that they are heard, but there is a bit too much going on today.
Reiulf tells Arvid about the plot he is exposed to at the national meeting.
Gro tries to become friends with AUF on Utøya, but they are mostly concerned with Reiulf. It is hot. Don't talk about NATO.
Gro has to keep his right-hand man at arm's length so he doesn't look like a spy. Another right-winger annoys her on live TV
Gro and Kåre are getting ready for their last televised debate before the election. A hippopotamus has been observed between Fossestuvegen and Rotvoll roundabout.
All power to none.
