Mandrake

"Mandrake" was the first HBO Latin America original series to be produced in Brazil. The title character was adapted from the book “A Grande Arte” by Brazilian novelist Rubem Fonseca, known for his insightful analysis into Rio de Janeiro’s societies. Fonseca was actively involved in the adaptation of his work to the small screen, and entrusted the general direction of the project to his own son José Henrique Fonseca.
