She constantly encounters rage, death and evil but she remains determined to endure what sometimes feels like a losing battle.
A young soccer talent is found murdered the day after a celebration of the A team's promotion to a higher division. An unhealthy sports culture is exposed, where everything is about performing and winning at all costs.
Maria Wern dives deeper into the destructive sports environment with inciting parents, bribes and elite bets. Kasper's sister is being threatened and the question is whether the case can be solved before more young people get hurt.

The investigation has taken Maria and Sebastian to Stockholm. A former employee at Folkhögskolan is the main suspect and is wanted. The police are getting closer to solving the mystery, but big surprises await.
