Season 3 begins with Masters and Johnson facing the press for the first time as they prepare to publish their study. As they do so, they recall last year's summer vacation when Bill was finishing work on their book, Virginia was facing parenting struggles, and Libby was pulling herself out from beneath a deep depression.

Masters and Johnson take on a celebrity couple who are looking to reinvigorate their sex life; Tessa comes to better understand her mother; Libby furthers her involvement in Joy's life but it comes with consequences that extend to Paul.

Masters and Johnson are interviewed when they take on an exotic new patient.

Johnson jets away with Dan Logan; Masters begins his surrogacy program.

Masters continues his surrogacy program, which is now under Johnson's critical eye.
