31 October 1996 - Seconds after taking off, TAM Airlines flight 402 slammed into a residential neighbourhood bursting into flames, killing all 95 people on board.
10 October 2006-- On a routine stop at the tiny Norwegian island of Stord, Atlantic Airways Flight 670 mysteriously careers off the runway and down an embankment.
On a secret mission over Africa with the UN Secretary General on board, the United Nations DC-6 mysteriously crashes ten miles from the runway.
20 August 2008 - When Spanair Flight 5022 slams into a creek and bursts into flames, killing 154 people, it is Spain's worst aviation disaster in decades.
