RTL has presented a new action type in this show, action directly from the air. Show is about group of medics that help the others in various medical cases outside a hospital. During episodes you can watch underlaying progress of each character, their lives.

Show has started filming since March 1997 in surrounding areas of München and Salzburg. That time it was only a filming of a pilot that was followed by first season an year later.
