In Meet the Peetes, audiences will see Holly and Rodney's hectic lives as they attempt to balance raising four kids, including one with autism, running their HollyRod charity and spending time with Holly's 81-year-old mother Dolores, who has been living with the Peete family since her retirement from her career as a talent manager. Their daughter Ryan is in college at New York University while RJ, their son with autism, is working for the Los Angeles Dodgers and decides he's ready to leave the family nest. On top of that, Holly's mother Dolores announces she's ready to move out too - the Peetes are in a period of change that will continue to unfold in Meet the Peetes.
The Peete family moved and Holly wants to throw a housewarming party. Ryan is home for the summer and feels unprepared for her internship. Holly and Rodney want to help RJ plan for his future.
Rodney takes the family to Arizona to visit his parents for their 57th wedding anniversary. Holly seizes the opportunity and plans a family RV trip to the Grand Canyon.
Holly runs a job fair to train people with autism. Holly and Rodney ask designer, Ken Wingard to decorate their new home. Dolores enlists Ryan's help in getting back into the dating scene.
The HollyRod Foundation holds their annual fundraiser, DesignCare, to raise money for Parkinsons and Autism. This year marks its 20th anniversary and Holly wants it to be better than ever!
When Robinson attends a baseball training camp run by former NY Yankee Dave Winfield, he wants to fast-track his college recruiting process. However, Rodney feels that players are being recruited too young these days and enlists the help of some famous ex-MLB players to help convince Robinson to slow down. Holly decides to try her hand at sports broadcasting, but first must convince Rodney to let her join him and on-air partner Fred Roggin on their radio show, something Rodney is not exactly keen to do. Before Ryan returns to NYU for her junior year, Holly insists that she get her driver's license. Ryan turns to brother R.J. "the best driver in the family," to help her pass her test.
Holly decides that she and Rodney should start working out together in order to spend more time with one another. Holly's brother Matt and his wife Cindy make a surprise visit to Dolores in Palm Springs. When Ryan learns about event for Siblings of People with Autism, she takes inspiration and plans a day of surfing for her, R.J. and his friends and their siblings.
It's Ryan's last week at home before heading to Berlin for her semester abroad. Feeling like he has missed out on important father-daughter time with Ryan this summer, Rodney scrambles to make up for it before she leaves. R.J. wants to revisit his past modeling endeavors, and decides to walk the catwalk again, this time for charity.
Robinson wants to try his hand at acting and, initially wary of her son becoming a child actor, Holly relents and allows him to audition for a role on her new "Morning Show Murders" movie for Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Dr. Wiley's Autism: Beyond the Label gala is fast approaching, and Rodney is on a mission to make certain that honoree R.J.'s acceptance speech is "ready for primetime." And when Rodney's former USC teammate, Chris Hale, challenges him to a tailgate cook-off, the gauntlet is thrown down and the cook-off is on!
Holly and Matt celebrate Sesame Street's 50th Anniversary, and Rodney takes the boys to a dude ranch.
Holly and RJ head to Berlin to see Ryan and celebrate their 21st birthday. Rodney struggles to get Roman to put down his video games. RJ's Place gets ready to open.
