After years of constant relocation, retired military officers Joe and Maddie have decided to turn their Colorado home into a dream retirement. Four months later, the new Mega Deck in the treetops has an outdoor kitchen and living room, a new fire pit and retractable glass walls.
Mark loves his cliffside log home in the Rocky Mountains, but the small existing deck doesn't take advantage of the million-dollar view. Twenty years ago, Brad and Ronnie built their dream home in the heart of the Black Forest, on the outskirts of Colorado Springs. They've got gorgeous mountain views and five acres of land, but their patio and decks are faded and cracked. The plans call for an outdoor living and dining room with a state-of-the-art outdoor kitchen, sliding glass walls, bench seating and a fire pit. The four-season living space will also feature a hot tub and spiral staircase.
Newlyweds Whitney and Joey have just purchased their dream home in an exclusive gated community. While they love the inside, the existing deck has some serious issues. So, they challenge the Mega Crew to build a $200,000 deck complete with an outdoor kitchen, state-of-the-art hot tub and a custom staircase for their small dog. The design plans also call for a circular outdoor living room with rounded gas fire pit and pergola, a second seating area with fire pit located near their new hot tub, and a custom iron staircase.
Randy and Kim live in the country with their teenage children. They really want a place for their kids to hang out with their friends, as well as a place to connect and bond as a family. The plans call for a two-story water feature, a custom pizza oven and patio, an outdoor living room, an outdoor kitchen, sliding glass walls, and four large fire features to keep them warm all year long.
