Paulino Córdoba, Gabino Roura, Rodolfo Huerta and Matías Quiroga have been friends since childhood, but as adults their priorities changed, and a sin menaces the destruction of their friendship.

Paulino is owner of the apple-producing Miracle Plantation (la Hacienda El Milagro), and is Rosario's husband. They have two children, César y Lucrecia. Rosario has always preferred the son, his heir, and openly rejected his daughter. Lucrecia is taken care of by Delfina, Rosario's servant, mother of Manuel.

Lucrecia y Manuel consider themselves siblings because Delfina raised them together. Lucrecia's best friend is Julián Huerta; they share the same tastes and a sensibility that over the years forges a great love.
