Next Episode of Nadiya's Cook Once, Eat Twice is
unknown.
In this crafty cookery series, beloved TV chef Nadiya Hussain is back on our screens and this time she's showing the country how you can make your ingredients stretch further than you could ever imagine by sharing recipes that align with her philosophy ‘cook once and eat twice'. We will see Nadiya spinning leftovers into exciting and genuinely new recipes that make eating something for the second time as enticing as the first; rustling up convenient batch friendly bakes and treats to eat now and freeze/store for later; or turning otherwise-wasted-ingredients into thrilling new meals encouraging us to make the most of every second we spend in the kitchen.
Nadiya elevates everyday ingredients into food heroes. An old bag of salad becomes a vibrant pasta sauce, and spiced carrot soup is spun into a warming cod and carrot curry.
Nadiya presents some quick and easy midweek recipes. A beef stir-fry is spun into a sushi style wrap, plus emergency frozen burritos and an ingenious two-in-one corn chowder and pie.
Nadiya shares weekend comfort food recipes, including roast chicken and chickpeas and a batch-cook beef stew with fluffy dumplings.
Nadiya presents her wallet-friendly recipes for easy entertaining. Featuring Swedish meatballs and mash for a frugal feast, cheap and cheerful banana doughnuts and an impressive strawberry lemonade.
Nadiya shares her feelgood favourites: sloppy joe burgers, the mince of which can be used to make samosas, a frozen potato peel gratin, and a raspberry pudding.
Nadiya shows off some favourite foolproof bakes. With batch-friendly caramel brownies, nutty soda bread that uses up milk on the turn and a peanut chicken traybake that transforms into noodle soup.
