A group of Polish burlesque and drag performers. The community they create together allows them to be who they want to be and to realise any of their creations and fantasies. In their world, no one has to do anything, every body is beautiful and every love is possible. Unfortunately, this freedom comes at a price. Poland is a country that is increasingly talked about in the world in the context of racism, sexism and homophobia.
Artists Kim Lee, Betty Q, and Gasiu share how Warsaw's "Draglesque" scene has helped shape public views on important issues. Later, former monk Pawel traces his hard-fought journey to self-acceptance.
While veteran performers Kim Lee and Gasiu share their wisdom, Pawel explores his drag persona, Twoja Stara leads a march for equality, and Ukrainian artist Hieemeras sheds light on her quest for acceptance.
As female burlesque artists Red Juliette, Bunny de Lish, Betty Q, and Pin Up Candy work to push boundaries both on and off the stage, Pawel continues his own drag journey.
Twoja Stara leads a march in support of Poland's transgender community. Non-binary transgender drag performer Kali Katharsis works to challenge society's expectations. Pawel prepares for his first performance.
The show must go on – even as the community mourns a devastating loss. Then, with Gasiu and his friends cheering him on, Pawel finally introduces the world to his drag persona, Silver Daddy.
